Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer - Land Development

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our Land Development team. The ideal candidate will play an essential role in the development of land planning and infrastructure projects, while adhering to industry standards and project deadlines. The candidate will assist in the design and development of site plans, grading, drainage, and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and development of land development plans, including site layout and grading plans.
• Design and analyze stormwater management and drainage systems.
• Assist in the design and development of utility systems, including water, sewer, and storm drains.
• Coordinate with project team members, including architects, planners, and contractors.
• Conduct field inspections and review project sites to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Prepare and review technical reports and documents.
• Ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in land development planning and design, including site layout, grading, and utilities.
• Experience with stormwater management, permitting, and drainage design.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with commercial and multi-family projects is a plus.
